Single Stop USA is the ambitious nationwide expansion of Single Stop NY, a remarkably successful program launched by the Robin Hood Foundation to connect the working poor in New York with government funds and services intended for them. Located in community-based organizations (CBOs) throughout NYC, Single Stop NY has been a launching pad from which we have enhanced the model, learned from extensive data, piloted government partnerships, and served tens of thousands of low-income families. In sites ranging from job training centers to food banks to settlement houses, Single Stop's CBO programs integrate with existing services to serve families comprehensively, with culturally competent caseworkers, conveniently in their communities.
